The Alliance of Concerned Men (ACM) is an award-winning nonprofit organization with the goal of saving lives of at-risk youth residing in high crime areas of the Washington DC metropolitan community. Since 1991, ACM has been providing community services to families and children at-risk and in crisis throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. The ACM Community Health Initiative is always there and will always be in the community, we support the most vulnerable citizens of DC.
They are not invisible to us.

We are at it again, partnering with DYRS, HOWL Inc., and A1 Finishers.

The recent worksite workshop focused on supporting the installation and preparation of building trusses as part of the hands-on carpentry training experience. Participants were introduced to the purpose of roof trusses and how they help support the structure of a building.

During the workshop, youth observed and assisted with site preparation, material handling, safety awareness, and cleanup. The session gave participants a real-world understanding of how roof trusses are positioned, supported, and connected within a construction project. 👏👏
