According to the Centers for Disease Control, each year, women experience about 4.8 million intimate partner related physical assaults and rapes. Men are the victims of about 2.9 million intimate partner related physical assaults.

FRIDAY--- We hope to see you at the WKF 4th Annual Victims & Survivors Sleep Out for Peace! During our Candlelight Ceremony at 7:00pm victims and survivors will share their stories and memorialize those we have lost. If you cannot sleep out, it's okay! Simply sign out guest book, enjoy some hot coffee and enjoy the night.

Though the temperatures are expected to drop below freezing in the Nation's Capital Friday night, tough souls will face the elements and sleep outside on the city streets to raise awareness of the plight of victims and survivors of domestic and universal violence.
