Mayor Muriel Bowser has appointed our current Commissioner Ted Trabue to serve as Interim Chairman. Natural gas leaks in the District increased in 2025, rising by 21.28% compared to the previous year. However,, the overall number remains roughly 14.5% below 2019 levels.
