CB’s Child Welfare Policy Manual describes the mandatory policies that are based in Federal law and program regulations. It also provides interpretations of Federal statutes and program regulations initiated by inquiries from State child welfare agencies and ACF Regional Offices. Partnerships

CB provides comprehensive support to States, Tribes, communities, and child welfare professionals through its Training and Technical Assistance (T&TA) Network. Members supply coordinated training, technical assistance, research, and consultation services; build and disseminate knowledge on child welfare issues; and implement strategies intended to achieve sustainable, systemic change.
