The National Capital Area Political Science Association The mission of the association is to bridge and bring together political scientists and policy makers in the Washington, D.C. area.

The purpose of NCAPSA is to bring together in common professional and scientific interest those scholars, writers, public service employees, and others within the region centered in the nation’s capital desiring to encourage the scientific study of political and governmental phenomena and institutions, including the study of political theory, governmental organization and administration, public law, and international relations.
