HOPE Foundation Re-entry Network

HOPE Foundation Re-entry Network Helping Other People Everyday Mentoring is a complex intervention that is both individualized and personal.

The characteristics of mentoring reflect the needs discussed by many returning citizens in the community, in prison and those resettling back into the community; they ask for support which is based on a one-to-one relationship, trust, respect and support which takes into account their choices. Explore client’s needs from nine different pathways which is a good starting point for learning all need

s. Speak to returning citizens about:
• Accommodation
• Skills and Employment
• Health
• Substance Misuse
• Children, Families and Relationships
• Attitudes, Thinking and Behavior
• Finance, Benefit and Debt
• Personal Safety and Abuse

This year, thanks to our amazing partners, the Hope Foundation Reentry Network and Smart Start Academy, we expanded our reach and supported 51 families and 120 children! Together, we made a remarkable difference.

With your overwhelming contributions, we brought smiles and hope to many children during challenging times. It is your kindness that allows us to make a lasting impact!

Once again, thank you for your incredible support! Blessed people bless people, and your kindness has made a significant difference. I am forever grateful!

Season of Giving Initiative

The HOPE Foundation Re-entry Network, DC Department of Corrections Smart Start Training Academy D.C. United has partnered with our annual Season of Giving Initiative. Together, we are creating a safe and supportive environment for parents' well-being.

The Season of Giving Initiative is dedicated to supporting children and families of incarcerated parents, and we were honored to bring so many smile to our residents at the Department of Corrections, the evening was filled with card making, music, and a empowerment session.

Thanks to the The Washington Informer for capturing the moment.

This initiative offers parents the opportunity to come together in a supportive circle, where they can, not only learn from each other but also share strategies for healing and growth. By collaborating with our community partners, we are confident that we will make a positive impact on the residents and their families.

Together, we can make a difference! ❤️🤲🏾🤝
