International Overdose Awareness Day may be over, but the need to prevent overdose isn’t.

Naloxone can temporarily reverse an opioid overdose and give someone critical time to receive emergency care.

Knowing how to recognize an overdose, having naloxone nearby and knowing how to use it can save a life.

Every Community Health Worker has a story. ❤️

Maybe it’s the moment you realized this work was for you. Maybe it’s a person you helped connect to care, a barrier you helped someone overcome, or simply knowing that your presence made someone feel seen and supported.

Today, for CHW Stories Day, we want to hear yours.

It’s National Community Health Worker Awareness Week!

Community Health Workers are often the bridge between people and the care, resources and support they need.

They meet people where they are. They listen. They educate. They connect individuals and families to services. And just as importantly, they help build the trust that makes healthier communities possible.

This week, we celebrate Community Health Workers and thank them for the important work they do every day.

Help us show some love to the Community Health Workers making a difference in our communities.
