We are excited to welcome Luis Rivera to SPSSI's Executive Committee as President-Elect! Dr. Rivera previously served on SPSSI's Council from 2023–2026.

He joins the presidential trio with Dr. Phia Salter, President, and Dr. Kimberly Kahn, Past-President.

Luis Rivera, Rutgers University-Newark’s vice provost for academic innovation and a psychology professor, was elected president of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, a national organization with a leading role in using research to inform public policy.
