Looking for a way to impact your community...

Looking for a way to make a difference right here in Rowlett? 🌟 We’re inviting residents to apply for service on a City board or commission! These volunteer roles are a great way to get involved, give back, and have a voice in shaping the future of our community.

✅ Applications are open now until November 14
✅ Terms begin January 1
✅ Boards are made up of Rowlett citizens appointed by the City Council
✅ Most terms are 1–2 years

Current members should also reapply during this timeframe if they’d like to continue serving. Youth applicants in grades 9–12 are welcome to apply as Junior Alternate Members, too!

🙏 RRMC Holy Day Prayer – Over Our Community 🙏

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” – Psalm 33:12

Heavenly Father,
On this holy day, we pause to lift up the city of Rowlett and the surrounding communities You’ve called us to serve. We thank You for the freedoms we enjoy, the families we love, and the faith that guides our steps.

Lord, we pray over every citizen, every household, every church, and every corner of our city. Let Your peace dwell in our neighborhoods, Your wisdom lead our leaders, and Your truth take root in every heart.

Strengthen the weary. Uplift the brokenhearted. Protect the innocent. And remind us, Lord, that we are not just residents—we are stewards of this community, called to lead with character, serve with humility, and pray without ceasing.

May revival rise up from our streets. May justice and mercy walk hand in hand. And may You always be glorified in all we do.

On this quiet Saturday morning, we pause to lift up the City of Rowlett. Thank You for the beauty of a new day and the blessing of community. We ask Your hand of protection over our neighborhoods, schools, churches, and local businesses today.

Bless the families who call Rowlett home—fill their homes with peace and their hearts with joy. Strengthen our leaders with wisdom, our first responders with courage, and our citizens with hope.

Help us to be good neighbors, kind in our words, and faithful in our actions. Let Rowlett be a city marked by unity, character, and compassion—where Your presence is felt and Your truth is honored.
