New: FCNL joined dozens of advocacy organizations calling on Congress to reject a proposal to deepen U.S. military ties with Israel.

A provision in the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) would deeply integrate U.S. and Israel’s military industrial and technology sectors, and thus would deepen U.S. complicity in the war crimes and genocide being carried out by the Israeli government.

Amid the Trump administration's cruel efforts to target and deport Haitians, people of faith are rallying to defend and support their neighbors.

"Hundreds of volunteers — Baptists, Unitarian Universalists, Mennonites, Quakers and others — packed food boxes for Haitians in hiding, held phone drives asking elected officials to release the pastors and stood outside Haitian churches on Sunday morning to advocate for Haitians’ right to worship without fear.”

👏🕊️ Thank you to all of these faith leaders for helping to bring a powerful, united voice for peace to Congress!

FCNL’s Pennsylvania Advocacy Teams gathered with faith leaders from across the state for an advocacy day during the August congressional recess.

After a day of training and fellowship, they shared these messages of peace with Pennsylvania’s congressional delegation.

Thank you to the team of Congresswoman Madeleine Dean for joining us!

The 25th anniversary of 9/11 provides us with an opportunity to collectively observe a tragedy that struck so many people, as well as reflect on the harms and lessons of the devastating wars that followed.

As we approach this somber anniversary, our country must chart a better way forward for peace.

Join us as we hear from those who helped lead FCNL's response to the "War on Terror," as well as younger advocates who have never experienced a time when their country was not at war.

Inspired by their stories, we will call on Congress to reject the war on Iran and once again proclaim that ! 🕊️

FCNL is deeply honored to announce that it will be the new fiscal sponsor for Legacies of War, the leading organization dedicated to addressing the ongoing harms caused by unexploded U.S. ordinance dropped in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

This exciting partnership brings together two organizations deeply united by a shared commitment to peace, human dignity, and the healing of war-torn communities.

“For over two decades, Legacies has transformed awareness into action, shifting U.S. policy and bringing healing to communities impacted by unexploded ordnance," said FCNL's General Secretary Bridget Moix left. "Together, we look forward to building a more peaceful, reconciled future.”

"Partnering with FCNL bridges our mission with a legendary legacy of Quaker peacebuilding—bringing us full circle as we work together to heal the enduring wounds of the American wars in Southeast Asia," said Sera Koulabdara, CEO of Legacies of War (right).

Some important reminders as President Trump once again escalates the disastrous war on Iran:

1) This war is illegal + unauthorized by Congress.

2) Civilians are paying the highest price.

3) More war will only worsen the affordability crisis for families here in the U.S.
