Баррасии ҳамкориҳои минтақавии кишварҳои Осиёи Марказӣ, Эъломияи Хуҷанд доир ба дӯстии абадӣ ва брифинг оид ба раванди омодагӣ ба Конфронси чоруми байналмилалии оби Душанбе дар Маркази Авруосиёи Шӯрои Атлантик
Рӯзи 22 майи соли 2026 дар шаҳри Вашингтон бо ташаббуси сафоратҳои Тоҷикистон, Қирғизистон, Узбекистон ва Маркази Авруосиёи Шӯрои Атлантик мизи мудаввар оид ба баррасии ҳалли пурраи масъалаҳои сарҳадӣ, Эъломияи Хуҷанд доир ба дӯстии абадӣ, ҳамкориҳои минтақавӣ, ҳамзамон брифинг оид ба раванди омодагӣ ба Конфронси чоруми байналмилалии оби Душанбе баргузор гардид.
Дар ҷараёни нишаст Сафири Тоҷикистон қайд намуд, ки бо шарофати иродаи оливу қавии сиёсии Президенти Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон, Пешвои миллат муҳтарам Эмомалӣ Раҳмон ва Президенти Ҷумҳурии Қирғизистон муҳтарам Садир Жапаров баҳси садсолаи сарҳадии Тоҷикистону Қирғизистон ҳалли пурра ва доимии худро ёфт, ки ин руйдоди муҳими таърихӣ ва ҳолати нодир дар таҷрибаи байналмилалӣ ба ҳисоб меравад. Инчунин аҳамияти таърихии Эъломияи Хуҷанд доир ба дӯстии абадӣ аз 31 марти соли 2025 ва Шартнома миёни Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон, Ҷумҳурии Қирғизистон ва Ҷумҳурии Узбекистон дар бораи нуқтаи пайвастшавии сарҳадҳои давлатии се кишвар таъкид гардид.
Ҳамзамон дар мизи мудаввар брифинг доир ба раванди омодагӣ ба Конфронси чоруми байналмилалии оби Душанбе ва ташаббусҳои байналмилалии Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон вобаста ба ҳалли масъалаҳои глобалии обу иқлим ба иштирокдорон пешниҳод гардида, аз онҳо хоҳиш карда шуд, ки натиҷаҳои Конфронси Душанберо пайгирӣ ва дар нашрияҳои худ инъикос намоянд.
Илова ба ин Сафири Тоҷикистон ба як қатор саволҳои иштирокдорон, аз ҷумла оид ба ҳамкориҳои кишварҳо дар соҳаи обу энергетика, лоиҳаи сохтмони НБО “Роғун”, ҳамгироии нақлиёту логистикӣ ва ҳамкориҳои минтақавӣ ва ғайра посух дод.
Discussion of regional cooperation among Central Asian countries, the Khujand Declaration on Eternal Friendship, and a briefing on the preparation process for the 4th Dushanbe International Water Conference at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center
On May 22, 2026, in Washington, D.C., by the initiative of the embassies of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center, a roundtable was held on full and complete resolution of border issues, the Khujand Declaration on Eternal Friendship, and regional cooperation, as well as a briefing on the preparation process for the 4th Dushanbe International Water Conference.
During the event, the Ambassador of Tajikistan noted that high political will and strong commitment of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, His Excellency Sadir Japarov helped to permanently resolve one century old border dispute between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, which is an important historical and a breakthrough deal in the international experience. The historical significance of the Khujand Declaration on Eternal Friendship dated March 31, 2025 and the Treaty between the Republic of Tajikistan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Junction Point of the State Borders of the three countries was also emphasized.
Also at the roundtable a briefing on the preparation process for the 4th Dushanbe International Water Conference and the international initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan related to addressing global water and climate issues presented, and the participants were kindly asked to follow up on the results of the Dushanbe Conference and reflect them in their publications.
In addition, the Ambassador of Tajikistan answered a number of questions from the participants, including on cooperation between the countries in the water and energy sectors, the Rogun HPP construction project, transport and logistics integration, and regional cooperation.
