DSPolitical

DSPolitical The best data and technology to reach every voter, on every device, everywhere.

RICHNESS OF TELEVISION | TARGETING OF DIRECT MAIL | INTERACTIVITY OF ONLINE

What We Are:

DSPolitical is the progressive movement's first online advertising network that enables Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations to deliver internet ads to ONLY those individual voters that our clients want to uniquely target. How We Did It:

DSPolitical matched a cookie pool of over 400 million br

owser cookies to the Catalist voter file across several targeting segments. Through the power of “remarketing” technology, this enables campaigns to target their online ad buys, just like they do with their direct mail spend - to individual voters. Why You Should Care:

Other online advertising networks (Google, Facebook, etc) don’t allow advertisers to target down to this level of granularity. Progressives and Democrats can, for the first time, target online ads directly to segments of the Catalist file including registration, partnership, ethnicity, geography, household income, turnout likeliness, education, and many more.

We’re marking the start of May by celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and recognizing the culture and influence of AAPI communities nationwide. AAPI voters are playing an increasingly important role in shaping election outcomes from California to New Jersey, yet nearly half reported receiving no outreach in 2024.

For campaigns, closing this gap takes more than broad outreach. It requires a more intentional, culturally competent approach grounded in how Asian American communities engage with digital media and elections.

In our latest blog, we unpack the data, key concerns, and what it takes to engage AAPI voters more effectively in 2026.

We’re celebrating Women’s History Month by honoring the women who have shaped our democracy and who continue to influence its direction. Women consistently represent a larger share of registered voters and have turned out at high participation rates in presidential elections for decades. That sustained engagement and the priorities women bring to the ballot box continue to shape competitive races and statewide outcomes.

Economic security, access to healthcare, and the strength of democratic institutions remain central concerns for women. Understanding how these interconnected priorities shape engagement is essential for campaigns seeking to connect authentically and effectively.

Black History Month honors the leadership and contributions of Black Americans who have shaped our democracy. It is a time to recognize the generations of leaders who advanced civil rights and continue to shape our civic life today, while acknowledging the work that remains to ensure equitable representation and participation.

For advocacy organizations and campaigns, that responsibility begins with understanding how Black communities are navigating today’s political and economic landscape. Research shows that access to the ballot, education, housing stability, criminal justice reform, and rising costs continue to shape engagement, trust, and turnout.

Our latest blog breaks down what the data shows about voter priorities and engagement, and how campaigns can respond with clarity and purpose as we look ahead to 2026. Read more here:

Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., whose words continue to resonate: “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

In uncertain times like now, this reminder feels especially urgent. Progress doesn’t happen overnight—it takes persistence, courage, and a commitment to speaking up and taking action. At DSPolitical, we’re committed to turning those values into action by uplifting voices, supporting meaningful change, and working toward a more just and equitable future.

November is Native American Heritage Month — a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of Indigenous communities across the country.

It’s a moment to recognize the ongoing barriers Native peoples face when it comes to political representation and access to the ballot box. Too often, Indigenous voices are left out of national polling and voter data, leading to stories that overlook their true impact. But when Native voters are accurately represented, a fuller picture emerges, reflecting the community’s power, influence, and essential role in shaping our democracy.

This month and every month, we honor Indigenous leaders and communities whose advocacy continues to move our nation forward. Check out our latest blog exploring how accurate data and authentic representation can reshape the story of Native voter impact: https://www.dspolitical.com/blog-posts/2025-native-american-heritage-month-spotlight/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=organic_social&utm_campaign=1103_2025nativeamericanheritage

Now in its sixth year, the program continues that tradition by focusing on two key battlegrounds—New Jersey and Virginia—awarding $50,000 to help candidates reach voters and win races.

Meet our 2025 recipients:

- Stacey Carroll — Virginia House of Delegates, District 64
- John McAuliff — Virginia House of Delegates, District 30

This Hispanic-Latino Heritage Month, we’re celebrating the victories of Latino leaders and reaffirming our commitment to strategies that are inclusive, effective, and designed to empower every community.

As we look ahead, reaching Latino voters means meeting them where they are. Our award-winning Spanish Language Preference Model helps build stronger, more authentic connections by engaging voters in the language they use every day. And as media habits shift—with 56% of Hispanic voters streaming content weekly compared to just 38% on cable—CTV has become an essential channel to extend that connection.
