So impressed with Ana Maria Bondoc and Dorion Prioleau at this week's National Coalition for Homeless Veterans Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. Ana Maria's panel on “When ‘Other Than Honorable’ Isn’t the End of the Story: Options for Homeless Veterans” was so informative, and contained real actionable steps to help Veterans experiencing PTSD, TBI, and MST.
Our deep gratitude to the DAV Charitable Service Trust for sponsoring our Discharge Upgrade Program and making this work possible.

A huge thank you to volunteer attorney Mohammad “Mo” Ricks for sending our office some delicious blueberry jam from his neighbor’s small business up in Maine. We’re so grateful for thoughtful gestures like this, and even more grateful for Mo’s continued dedication to serving Veterans through pro bono advocacy! See what he had to say below.

Thank you, Mo, for all that you do!

"Please accept a small token of my deepest gratitude for the extraordinary work you do every day on behalf of our nation’s Veterans. What you have built is truly remarkable – a community of dedicated advocates ensuring that those who served are never left to navigate the legal system alone.

The impact of your mission extends beyond what can be measured. You restore dignity, secure justice, and provide hope to men and women who have given so much of themselves. It is an honor to be connected to an organization of such purpose and integrity.

Enclosed you’ll find three cases of blueberry jam from Nervous Nellies Jams and Jellies, made by our wonderful neighbor in Maine. Her jams are something of a New England treasure, and I hope they bring a little sweetness to your team – you’ve more than earned it."
