As calls ricochet through Congress to impeach Trump, some Democrats talk that impeachment would only further divide the country. NO! Wednesday's failed coup was a result of passivity in the face of all the crimes of the past 4 years- refugee kids in cages, Charlottesville.

We expect and demand that city officials and Metropolitan Police ensure the safety of this Constitutionally protected nonviolent speech. This is all the more important after their spectacular failure, before the eyes of the whole world, to stop a fascist mob from invading the nation's Capitol.
