Mark your calendars for Beautification Day - August 20, 2011 from 8am-1pm. We will be working together to spruce up DCPS schools in preparation for the first day of school. Find out more at http://dcps.dc.gov/DCPS/Parents+and+Community/Volunteer+in+Our+Schools/Beautification+Day+2011.

This annual event was established in 2005 as a citywide “spruce up” of all DC public school buildings in preparation for the first day of school.

Come to the Safe Summer Kickoff on Wednesday, June 22nd at 5pm at Stanton Elementary School (2701 Naylor Rd SE). They'll have hot dogs, drinks and snacks, a moon bounce, information about how to have a safe summer, and summer job opportunities!

Lottery 101: A Guide to the DCPS Out-of-Boundary Lottery
Thursday, January 20
6-8pm at Cleveland Elementary School (1825 8th St NW)

Learn about the District-wide PS/PK and OOB Lotteries, speak to principals, and receive 1-on-1 attention from DCPS’s Critical Response Team. Get your lottery questions answered and find schools that are right for your child.

The Critical Response Team will be available to discuss the entire lottery application process and help you select schools that are right for your student.
