We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Course in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 26-27, 2026!

This course will assist new and existing practitioners in enhancing their knowledge on how to start and effectively run a rehab program using CDBG funds. At least one year of experience with CDBG is recommended for this course. Participants without one year of experience are highly encouraged to view NCDA’s CDBG primer course prior to this in-person training.

NCDA is excited to host the IDIS Basics Online Training and Certification Course, starting at the end of this month! 🖥️

This course will run September 29-October 22, 2026, taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00-4:30 PM EST. There will be an optional online exam to be completed within 7 days of the end of the class.

We will provide a detailed overview of IDIS for CDBG grantees and HOME participating jurisdictions. This course will cover two main points: emphasizing the connection between the structure of consolidated/annual plans with the individual projects/activities and how their accomplishments are reflected in the CAPER, and strategies for tracking and reporting financial/accomplishment data in a timely and accurate manner throughout the program year.

This training will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 27 through November 19, from 2:00-4:30 PM EST. Attendees who pass the optional online exam will receive an NCDA Certificate of Completion.

Staff that have one year or less of experience should complete the prerequisite on-demand CDBG Primer Course beforehand to prepare.
