We are grateful to have been part of Operation Homefront’s Back to School Brigade event again this year in Norfolk.

It was a great opportunity to give back to the military families around Hampton Roads as they prepare for another great school year!

Thank you to Laura Contreras Rowe and Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Program for sponsoring our IEP Swag Bags and Special Education Binders, which we were able to give to all the military families we connected with who have children with special education needs. These tools will help these families thrive through the upcoming school year, no matter what challenges come their way.

We are so excited for this collaboration! Thank you Military Spouse Advocacy Network 💜

💡Did you know Partners in PROMISE offers a FREE special education mentor program?

Our specially trained mentors help military families prepare for PCS moves by organizing records, understanding timelines, and planning for IEP and 504 continuity before the move happens. With the right support, transitions do not have to disrupt your child’s access to the education they need and deserve. PCS season is hard. You do not have to navigate it alone.
