When grandparents, relatives and close family friends step up to raise children, they shouldn't have to do it alone. According to a new report from USAging and the Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network (Generations United) many Area Agencies on Aging are delivering key supports for kinship families, including respite services, caregiver education, counseling and help accessing resources.

We're proud to spotlight our member, Mature Resources Area Agency on Aging (MRAAA), on the unveiling of new vans that will support meal delivery services for older adults throughout Clearfield County, PA.

For many older adults, a delivered meal means much more than nutrition. It provides connection, a wellness check and the support needed to remain healthy and independent at home. The new vehicles will help MRAAA continue delivering this essential service to the community every day.
