Huge congrats to ! She just finished basic training at Fort Sill and is starting with the “Pershing’s Own” on Fort Myer! Happy first day of rehearsal to the newest military trumpeter, MU1 Alison Marseglia () of the !

She grew up in Southeastern Connecticut listening to the Coast Guard Band, and even studied with her now coworker MUCS Gino Villarreal. She recently graduated from Baylor University () after studying with renowned trumpet professor Wiff Rudd.

Trumpet Audition for the Army Band “Pershing’s Own”!
April 19th - Regional Audition @ the Manhattan School of Music.
June 26-27 - Live audition in Washington DC at the Army Band.

The Ceremonial Band is a great job. Some of the highlights are performing with the Army Herald Trumpets, Bugling at the Tomb of the Unknowns, Arlington and performing at the White House.
