Ciao, bellas! We’re coming up on the third Tuesday of the month, which means we’re gearing up for another incredible evening of community, conversations, and cocktails in Mount Vernon Triangle. Join us on Tuesday, May 19 at Stellina Pizzeria (508 K Street NW) for our May Together Tuesdays from 5-7pm. This is sure to be another night of cold cocktails and warm conversations that you’re not going to want to miss!

This market’s young money no mo’ 😏

We’re thrilled to announce that our weekly market at 5th & I Streets NW surpassed $1 million in sales for the second year in a row and continues to grow! Last year the market sales increased 14% overall making our market one of the highest growth achievers in FRESHFARM’s entire network. Furthermore, this community keystone continues to provide important local food access to our neighbors in need. Despite a decrease in SNAP/EBT spending — due in part to interruptions in the funding stream in October — the additional funds for FreshMatch and the digitization of the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program by DC Health benefits significantly increased the overall use of food access benefits at the FRESHFARM MVT Market compared to 2024.

We are so proud to see how this market has grown into a community mainstay for Mount Vernon Triangle over the last 12 years and can’t wait to welcome you all to another season of shopping high-quality, locally grown and made products!
