The Senate passed my bipartisan resolution with Senator Boozman celebrating this week and recognizing 4-H’s impact as it prepares 50,000+ Minnesota youth to lead in their communities.

As 4-H Caucus co-chair, I’ll keep championing exciting opportunities for youth in agriculture.

I recognized Crystal and Justin Kasmiskie from Shakopee as this year’s Angels in Adoption Minnesota honorees. When a visa issue threatened to stop them from bringing their adopted twin sons home from Liberia, my office helped push their visas through. They made it home just before the visa ban took effect — and now their boys are thriving!

Since the original law passed thanks to the advocacy of Abbey Taylor’s family there have been ZERO drain entrapment deaths in compliant pools.

Sometimes small things — like a drain cover — can have a big impact.
