NFBPA MIT - Members in Transition Program

NFBPA MIT - Members in Transition Program MIT PROGRAM MISSION:
Successfully provide structured career transition resources to support members during a period of adversity, challenge, and and/or change.

Successfully deliver proactive value to NFBPA members by providing structured career transition resources to support members during a period of adversity, challenge, and change. MIT PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:
Effectively and expeditiously assist registered members in the MIT Program when faced with a voluntary or involuntary career change that leaves the member in a “transition” status. MIT PROGRAM AMBAS

SADORS:
A MIT Program Ambassador offers significant value for NFBPA members at a transition stage in their career. They function as professional colleagues, advisors, and supporters -- not employment consultants or search firms. An Ambassador provides help with foreseen transition issues, offers tactical career advice, and aids with professional support to the MIT Program participant. They maintain contact with local and regional NFBPA leadership to continuously network and expand their knowledge of potential opportunities for MIT Program participants. Ambassadors may introduce an MIT Program participant to local and national search resources known to the Ambassador. The efforts of MIT Ambassadors are performed in support of NFBPA and its members on a volunteer basis. All discussions between Ambassadors and participant members in the MIT Program are strictly confidential.
