Congratulations to the fifth annual Forsyth County Citizens' Academy graduates.

This is exactly what civic engagement looks like: neighbors taking the time to understand how their local government works, asking real questions, and showing up.

Forsyth County also just launched the 2026-2027 Student Government Academy for high school juniors. These are the next generation of leaders in GA-07, and programs like this give them the foundation to serve.

Proud of this community. Well done.👏

Heat index hitting 106 degrees across North Georgia this weekend. Please look out for each other. Drink water. Find shade. Check on your neighbors, especially the elderly. Stay safe, GA-07.

The Labor Day weekend will bring plenty of events to metro Atlanta and North Georgia, but the heat will be the biggest weather story before rain chances increase.

Forty percent of America’s fourth graders read below grade level. That means in a classroom of 25 students, 10 children cannot read proficiently.

Now, screens are replacing the focused learning and critical thinking that build strong minds. More technology mandates are not the answer. Put parents back in the driver’s seat. Hold schools accountable for results. Teach our children to read.

Georgia just landed the largest single power user in state history. OpenAI's Project Camellia, a 1,400-acre, 3.2-gigawatt project in Effingham County, has finalized its power agreement with Georgia Power.

Georgia is open for business. These are real jobs, real investment, and real economic growth for our state.

But here is the number that matters just as much: Georgia Power and the PSC built in financial safeguards to protect residential ratepayers. Families in Georgia's Seventh District will never bear the burden of a corporate data center. Growth is good. Growth that saddles working families with higher utility bills is a problem. I will be watching to make sure those protections hold.

Georgia is at the center of all things AI happening right now.

We should be proud that our state is where companies want to develop and invest because they believe that we have the energy security needed to advance American technological innovation.

More data centers mean more jobs, more investment, and more innovation right here in Georgia.

No other place in the United States currently has as much data center space under construction as the Atlanta area, according to new data from real estate services firm CBRE.

Where you live should never determine the quality of care you receive.

As an ER doctor, I have seen what happens when geography becomes destiny for patients. A person in rural Georgia should get the same standard of care as someone in Atlanta.

That's why I'm fighting to let doctors and nurses cross state lines fast when disaster strikes, and to put patients, not insurance companies or Washington bureaucrats, back in control of their own healthcare.

Thank you to everyone who joined our telephone town hall last night. We had a productive conversation about healthcare, national security, immigration, data centers, and the issues affecting Georgia’s 7th District.

Your questions and engagement make our republic stronger. It is an honor to represent you, and my office will always be here to serve you. God bless Georgia, and God bless America. 🇺🇸

Introducing… Senator Joni Ernst!

Senator Joni Ernst is truly one of the best to ever do it. For nearly 12 years, she has proudly represented the great people of Iowa in the U.S. Senate. As a veteran, Joni knows what it means to wear the uniform, serve our country, and fight for the Americans who call it home.

She will soon be retiring from the Senate, and her leadership, friendship, and service will be deeply missed!

Rebuilding American manufacturing starts with rebuilding the American workforce.

Foundry School will help equip the next generation with the skills to build, innovate, and lead right here at home. This is how we outcompete China and secure America’s future. 🇺🇸
