Today, the Vice Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps in the US, Amb. Mathilde Mukantabana, and the Head of Mission of the African Union Mission to the USA to the United States, Amb. Hilda Suka-Mafudze, led a meeting of the corps to discuss the foreign and economic policy priorities of the new U.S. administration and how hashtag
hashtag can strategically position itself in the evolving political landscape.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Corps engaged Amb. Troy Fitrell, Acting Assistant Secretary for African Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, to discuss the administration's priorities and explore opportunities to strengthen U.S.-Africa partnerships.
Prof. Landry Signé, Executive Director and Professor at Thunderbird School of Global Management in Washington DC and Senior Fellow at the The Brookings Institution , was also invited to share his expert insights with the African Diplomatic Corps. He offered perspectives on the diplomatic and economic priorities of the new U.S. administration and how Africa can position itself effectively within the evolving global landscape.
