We remember the lives lost and honor the courage of those who helped others in the aftermath. We remember the strength, solidarity and unity that followed, in the United States and around the world.
Today, as we look to the sky, we reflect on what has changed, what connects us, and our shared commitment to peace, security, and standing together against terrorism and hate.

We’re looking forward to welcome countertenor Alois Mühlbacher to the Embassy of Austria in Washington D.C. with an unforgettable evening of song. 🎤⭐

Mühlbacher has captivated audiences worldwide with his unmistakable voice, remarkable versatility, and deeply expressive stage presence. 🎶 He made his debut at the Vienna State Opera at the age of 15 and was recently named a BBC New Generation Artist for 2026-2028. 🙌

Together with distinguished pianist Elias Gillesberger the program “Music for a While” features Baroque masterworks, Romantic Lieder, and contemporary compositions, including works by Handel, Vivaldi, Britten, Schubert, Bruckner and Mahler.
