Today was a busy day DownEast. I picked up Representative Will Tuell and checked out the Washington County Fair in Pembroke. It was a nice fair and it looks like it has grown since last year with lots of crafters and vendors. I also scored some spicy dilly beans, crab apple jelly and some cake pops from 207 Sweets. Then it was off to a Republican fundraiser on Bog Lake. What a beautiful spot. It was nice to hear Senator Collins, Governor LePage and Bobby Charles speak about the excitement they have seen to change the state in a different direction as they are working hard to meet people across the entire state. It was also nice to see other candidates who have been working hard in their parts of the state visit Washington County. This election year is a decision to keep enforcing stronger policy’s that have made working Maine poor or to change the majority for a chance to make Maine affordable for Mainers again. Every vote counts and every vote is important🗳️🇺🇸 Thank you all for your continued support🗳️🇺🇸

Maine's directed menhaden fishery will re-open Monday, August 31 at 12:01 a.m. under reduced harvest measures.

It is extremely important that ALL harvesters complete and submit daily trip reports prior to the start of fishing next week.

This morning I traveled to Compotech in Brewer to join other Senators and Representatives to welcome Vice President JD Vance. It was nice to hear continued talk of fraud investigation and  prosecution as well as encouraging to know there are great business like Compotech that are providing much needed materials to our military for safety and are expanding their offerings which will create more jobs and allow people to be independent from the government. The opportunity to have more businesses like Compotech are hanging on this No embers election. The choice is simple vote for the same downward spiral the majority has voted for or, get a new majority for a positive change. The difference will be who shows up to vote 🗳️ It was awesome to see the Vice President of the United States back in Maine 🇺🇸- https://compotechinc.com/
