As we carry out our daily tasks of caring for our patients and ambassadors, we always make sure to set aside time for our feathered companions to enjoy the sunshine. They are always eager to be by our side and offer their assistance. At our center, we are proud to have a wonderful custom-made "Barron Von Vulture" whirligig, which is a big hit with Barron. It's as if there is a deep and meaningful connection between Barron and his favorite toy.
Despite the common misconception about birds not being very intelligent, vultures, especially black vultures, are actually known for their intelligence, curiosity, and playful behavior. When in captivity, vultures need plenty of enrichment activities to thrive, such as chewable toys, puzzle feeders, and regular walks. Vultures excel at problem-solving enrichment, often surpassing other birds in this aspect. Barron, in particular, is endlessly fascinated by the variety of enrichment toys and thoroughly enjoys exploring the different textures and materials.

Barron and the team would like to thank our supporters for SAVING THE HOLIDAY! Santa must have gotten the message of a very heartbroken vulture. Two of his elves from Lancaster County, each brought a " Filippity Fish" to the center and there seems to be a few more on the way. Many thanks to all of our supporters and Barron Von Vulture fans for your generous donations, as this will ensure a stock in "Filippity Fish" for the future.
