Meet Tyler Todd, our Board Secretary and Governance Committee Chair!
He enjoys being part of the meaningful work Habitat does alongside families in Kosciusko County and values serving with a dedicated Board and staff team. To Tyler, Habitat is about building more than a house. Through homeownership, families build confidence, stability, and hope for the future.

A fun fact about Tyler is that he enjoys listening to jazz music. 🎷

We are grateful for his leadership, thoughtfulness, and support he brings to Habitat’s mission. His service helps strengthen the path to homeownership for local families.

Last Thursday, we celebrated 35 years of building homes, hope, and community! 🏘️
Since 1991, Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County has helped make affordable homeownership a realty for local families.

Over the last 35 years, we have:
🏠 Built 34 homes
💚 Provided a place to call home for 139 people
🤝 Had the support of thousands of volunteers and donors

And we are not stopping anytime soon! With new homes under construction, families preparing to break ground, and the launch of a new Home Repair Program, Habitat continues to expand access to affordable housing.

A special thank you to every volunteer, donor, partner, and supporter who has helped make the last 35 years possible. Here's to building a stronger community and stronger families together. 💙

June is National Homeownership Month!🏠

Homeownership brings people together. Through Habitat’s Homeownership Program, local families, volunteers, donors, churches, and businesses work side by side to help build homes and hope in Kosciusko County.

On Thursday, May 21, Warsaw Community Church hosted a Panel Build for the Schmucker family build! We had a total of 34 volunteers come out, including Ida Schmucker, to help us build the interior and exterior walls of Ida's new home!

A special thanks to Metzger Trucking for donating the service to drive the wall panels to our site and to WCC for allowing us to use their space. We are so thankful for your support and generosity!

Say hello to Roberto, our Board President! 👋
Roberto has been an active member on our board for 5 years and enjoys giving back to our local community and supporting the Habitat for Humanity mission.

Roberto grew up seeing the value of engaging in non-profits and supporting those in need of having a decent, affordable place to call home.

In his free time, Roberto enjoys volunteering, going outdoors, grilling, and creating memories with my family!

We are so grateful for the leadership and service he brings to our organization.

🏠 Homeowner Highlight: The Adams Family
In August 2025, Brianna and her sons stepped into their first home! After years of feeling stuck and living in an unstable and unsafe situation, they now have a place where her boys can be themselves, play outside safely, and just be kids.
