From: Steve Siegrist Chief - Warsaw Fire Dept. Re: Burn Advisory

BURN ADVISORY - Please use extreme caution when burning as ti is very dry and with the combination of the winds we have been having, a small fire could easily spread quickly. Please refrain from ALL unnecessary burning! Also, a reminder that within the City Limits of Warsaw and in the Warsaw Fire Protection District, burning shall be attended at al times, limited to hours between sunrise and sunset and winds cannot be in excess of 10 MPH (these are State of Illinois regulations as well.) This BURN ADVISORY shall remain in effect until adequate rain fall is received to relieve the dry conditions we are currently experiencing. A complete BAN may be issued may be issued a s well.
Al regular ordinance, rules and restrictions STATE and LOCAL still apply. If you have any questions regarding these rules and restrictions, please contact Warsaw City Hall or the Warsaw Fire Department.
