Thank you to those who help care for neighbors in need in Kosciusko County by supporting the Food Pantry! Our pantry is open three days a week and served 200+ families over those three days this week! We are privileged to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community in this way!

🌻🎉 Happy Birthday, Ami Pitt! 🎉🌻
Ami serves as a Case Manager for our Project Independence and Hand Up programs, but she is so much more than her title. She is a wealth of knowledge, a compassionate listener, a fierce advocate, and someone who leads with her heart every single day.

Having walked many of the same paths that our participants face, Ami brings a unique understanding and authenticity to her work. She has an incredible gift for encouraging others, helping them recognize their strengths, and supporting them as they grow into the people they are meant to be.

When she's not at CCS, you might find her coaching T-ball with her grandkids, making a splash in the pool with family, hosting a huge impromptu family dinner, spending time with the many friends and children she's lovingly "adopted" as grandchildren, or sitting in her barn watching her llamas frolic while her goats happily follow her around the yard.

Ami also has a special love for gardening and plants; much like the people she serves, she understands that with the right care, support, and encouragement, beautiful growth is possible.

She is a beautiful soul who loves deeply, feels deeply, and genuinely wants to see everyone around her succeed. We are grateful every day to have her on our team and to witness the impact she makes in the lives of so many.

After being closed on Monday for Memorial Day last week, we were busy Tuesday and Thursday helping families in our county receive groceries from the Food Pantry!

April was a busy and impactful month in our Emergency Assistance programs. Through thoughtful donations, we were able to provide much needed groceries to ⭐ 2,324 individuals.

✨ Sacred Heart Elementary School donated 110 hygiene kits
✨ Lutheran Health Network Peanut Butter Drive donated 1,830 Jars of peanut butter
✨ The Grace College Grace College Joust Competition donated 820 lbs of food to the pantry.

The Grace College & Action Volunteer Group and a group from Johnson & Johnson came to volunteer with us, putting in work in our Food Pantry and giving a helping hand to those in need. THANK YOU to these groups for giving to our community!

Tools for School is July 29, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Can you help “fill the future” of Kosciusko County students by helping to fill a backpack with needed school supplies?

Help make sure all students have what they need to start the next school year. Pick up a pack(s) at the CCS office during business hours and fill it with the supplies on the attached tag.

Along with Pleasant View Bible Church Kids' ministry, we have started a vegetable garden for our community! Vegetable starts are available in our front lobby during business hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 9:00 am - 4:00 p.m.

We had the honor of attending this training session with our friends from many other nonprofits across our community. We are blessed to have organizations and foundations that support and believe in non profit sustainability here in Kosciusko County.
