The New York State Division of Emergency Medical Services is working with Agency 102 to develop a Recruitment and Retention toolkit designed to help EMS agencies address workforce challenges and strengthen their ability to recruit and retain EMS personnel.

As part of this effort, we want to hear directly from EMS agencies across New York state about your experiences, challenges, and successful approaches to recruitment and retention. Your input will help ensure that the toolkit is practical, relevant, and responsive to the needs of EMS agencies.

We are asking EMS leaders to provide their insights by responding to a survey response, participating in a listening session or both!

We strongly encourage agencies to participate. Your experiences and perspectives are essential to developing a toolkit that reflects the realities of EMS agencies across New York State and provides meaningful, usable resources to support recruitment and retention.
