🌟 This month's standout is... Amari Yerby! 🌟

Amari serves as one of our Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs). While Ms. Yerby is new to the QMHP role, she has been with NNRJ for a little over a year, previously serving as a Substance Abuse Counselor.

Ms. Yerby is dependable in every aspect of her work and is always ready to pitch in and help wherever needed. She is known for her kind demeanor, positive attitude, and willingness to support both staff and inmates alike.

Whether it's behind the scenes or front and center, her dedication does not go unnoticed. Ms. Yerby is also an avid volunteer, participating in events such as NNRJ's Trunk or Treat and our annual Christmas float.

We are honored that multiple departments we recognized, those being - the Kitchen, Classification, and Security Department!

Training days are crucial days at NNRJ! Today, our team completed four vital sessions focused on PREA, Staff Harassment, and Su***de Prevention.We are incredibly grateful to the wonderful instructors who shared their time and expertise with our staff. By investing in regular education, we ensure our team remains prepared to maintain a secure, safe, and healthy environment for everyone inside our facility.

This Mother’s Day, our Women’s Empowerment group at NNRJ created a staff entrance board that truly speaks from the heart. Working on this program reminds us every day that people are more than their worst decisions. Through conversation, creativity, and support, you can see the humanity, strength, and growth in each of these women. NNRJs programs is proud to manage a program that helps restore hope and reminds them—and all of us—what really matters. 💗💐
