There's still time to secure your spot in the Warrenville Junior Safety Academy, taking place June 22–26!

Hosted by the Warrenville Police Department and Warrenville Fire Protection District in partnership with the Warrenville Park District, this exciting one-week program gives kids ages 10–14 a hands-on introduction to public safety while building confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.

As the weather heats up the next couple of days, remember the Warrenville Park District Recreation Center functions as a cooling center during regular business hours:
Monday-Thursday: 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Join us tonight from 5-7P!

The Warrenville Park District is excited to announce that we will be replacing the playground at Sesqui Park!

Community focus is important when designing parks to meet the needs of the community. We will be holding three Public Input Meetings to discuss playground replacement options.

Monday, June 8 at Sesqui Park – 3:00-4:00P

Tuesday, June 9 at Sesqui Park – 5:00-7:00P

Thursday, June 11 (during Lunchtime Live) at Cerny Park – 11:00A-12:30P

Concepts will be available for viewing. This will be an open house format and with no formal presentation. Please feel free to join us anytime during the meeting!

Additionally, beginning Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12, a display featuring three playground renderings will be available in the lower-level Recreation Center lobby for public viewing. I will provide voting slips so they can submit their vote at the Guest Services desk.
