Library staff love to make silly faces and highlight great books, like this one written by Dolly Parton. You'll find "Good Lookin' Cookin" in our catalog along with hundreds of other cookbooks. Remember, any time spent reading through July can be logged as part of our Summer Reading Challenge. This includes cookbooks!

We've got great gifts for completing the challenge and an awesome grand prize drawing. We want to thank a few of our Summer Reading Challenge sponsors like Funway Ultimate Entertainment Center and Kane County Cougars.

The Problem with Plastics
Wednesday, July 1 • 7 pm • Ages 18 and up

Join members of the Warrenville Environmental Advisory Commission to hear about plastic contamination and discuss what we can do to address the issue of microplastics.

Feel Good Music Party Band is willing to brave the weather and put on a concert tonight! We can't guarantee they'll get in a full concert or you won't be running for cover at some point.😊

The food truck is already here in our lower-level lot.
Pancitas FoodTruck will start serving authentic Mexican street food and tasty desserts about 4:30 pm.

Feel Good Party Band is coming to the Commons on Wednesday, June 24, at 7 pm!

Come out early to claim your spot on the lawn and grab dinner from Pancitas FoodTruck. Then, we want to see you dancing to their party jams!

Anybody remember the days of the Orpheum theaters, when a movie premiere was a fancy occasion?

Just wanted to show off a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle recently completed at our Community Puzzle table. If you want to fill time on a rainy day or a hot summer day, or need a stress buster any day, come piece together whatever puzzle we have out near our Adult Services Desk. Themes, sizes and complexity of puzzles vary. Once one puzzle is complete, we put out another one.

Also, did you know we have a puzzle table in the lower level of the library? You can take whatever puzzles you want without checking them out. When you're finished, you can return the puzzle to our table or pass it along to a friend.

80’s Pop-Up Arcade
Saturday, June 27 • 1–3 pm • All ages

Step back into the golden age of the arcade with iconic games like Pac-Man, Galaga, Williams “High Speed” Pinball and more. Compete for the title of Warrenville High Score Champion. Parents can bring kids to show off their gaming skills from
back in the day.

All library events are free and open to the public. You don't need to live in Warrenville or have a WPLD library card to attend. Invite friends to join you. This is a drop-in event; registration is not required.
