We were honored to welcome members of the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce for a behind-the-scenes tour of our operations. It was a great opportunity to showcase how our team works every day to serve the community and support recycling efforts throughout Fauquier County.

We greatly appreciate the thoughtful ideas and feedback shared during the visit on ways to encourage even more residents and businesses to recycle. We were especially pleased that several attendees left with applications for small business recycling permits, helping expand recycling opportunities within our local business community.

A special thank you to the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce for presenting our department with a Certificate of Appreciation. We are truly grateful for this recognition of the essential work our staff performs each day and our ongoing commitment to serving the residents and businesses of Fauquier County.

Thank you for your support, partnership, and dedication to making our community a better place!

🌱🎃 Young Gardeners – Let’s Grow Together! 🌸♻️

Join us on Wednesday, May 27 at 11:00 AM as young gardeners reuse plastic bottles to create their very own planters! Participants will plant a pumpkin seed, learn about reusing everyday items, and watch their pumpkin grow.

Then later this summer, reuse the planter again for beautiful summer flowers! 🌼🌿

A fun hands-on activity that encourages creativity, gardening, and the importance of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
