The public is invited to learn about the future interchange project on U.S. Route 61 in Lincoln County, located at the Routes B and E intersection near Auburn. Join us for an exclusive an informational meeting on Wednesday, June 17, from 4-6 p.m. in the Community Room at the Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, located at 1112 E. Cherry St. in Troy.
The meeting is open-house style, with no formal presentation. Attendees can join in anytime between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. A public comment period will be available beginning on June 17, 2026 through June 30, 2026.

Crews with the Improve I-70 Kingdom City to Warrenton Project will close the eastbound righthand shoulder at Mile Marker 181 to 181.3 at the Norfolk Southern Railway overpass near High Hill in Montgomery County for geotechnical boring operations. Beginning as early as May 27, 2026, contractor crews are scheduled to install bridge girders on the new Routes E/Y bridge over I-70 in Montgomery County (Exit 183 in Jonesburg).
Weather permitting, girder installation work will tentatively occur between 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27 and the morning hours of Thursday, May 28. During this time, traffic impacts will include:
• Reducing I-70 to one lane then diverting traffic up and over the interchange ramps
○ EB I-70: work will begin at 8 p.m. on Wed, May 27 and tentatively reopen by 4 a.m. on Thurs, May 28.
○ WB I-70: operations are anticipated to begin in the WB direction by 10:30 p.m. on Wed, May 27 and reopen during the morning hours of Thurs, May 28.
• Access restrictions from I-70 to Rte. E, Rte. Y, and the outer roads with closures at the following locations:
○ Route E - between the interchange ramps and Northwest Service Road.
○ Route Y - just south of the eastbound I-70 ramp terminal.
• Signed detours will be in place to route local traffic to the neighboring interchanges at Route F (Exit 179 at High Hill) or Routes A/B (Exit 188, near Pendleton)
• Motorists on I-70 should expect delays while traffic is diverted

Weather permitting, as early as May 18, resurfacing work and seal coating operations are scheduled on various routes in Lincoln Co. Initially, resurfacing work will begin on Route W, from Route KK at Brussels to MO 47 near Troy. Once complete, operations will move to the following routes:
· Route EE - Resurfacing from Route Y to O 47 near Winfield
· Route U - Seal coat from MO 47 near Hawk Point to just west of U.S. 61 near Moscow Mills
