After 31 years of dedicated service, today we recognize the retirement of Firefighter Frank Mansi from the Warrensville Heights Fire Department.

For over three decades, Frank answered the call—day or night—serving the community with professionalism, courage, and pride. His commitment to the job, his fellow firefighters, and the residents of Warrensville Heights has left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.

Throughout his career, Frank has been a trusted teammate, a mentor to many, and a steady presence on every scene. The knowledge, experience, and leadership he brought to the department helped shape those around him and strengthened the brotherhood.

While we are sad to see him go, we are grateful for his 31 years of service and wish him nothing but the best in this next chapter of life.

Congratulations, Frank, on a well-earned retirement. Stay safe, enjoy every moment, and know you’ll always be part of the WHFD family. 🚒

On Friday at approximately 1040 hours, the Warrensville Heights Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle into a building with a reported person trapped.

Upon arrival, crews located a female patient trapped beneath the vehicle. Firefighters quickly initiated extrication operations and successfully removed the patient using hydraulic rescue tools. The patient was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center in stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle, along with another individual, was transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.

The East Tech Rescue Team was requested to assist with stabilization of the structure.

We would like to extend our appreciation to all agencies that responded and assisted, including Warrensville Heights Police Department, North Randall Fire Department, and the East Tech Rescue Team.
