Who were the Odd Fellows?

For generations, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows was part of life in Warrensburgh, bringing people together through friendship, charity, and service. Warrensburgh Lodge No. 488 helped families in times of need, served its community, and left behind a history that is still part of Warrensburgh today.

Our newest exhibit explores the people, traditions, and stories behind this once-prominent local organization, including the Rebekahs, its women-centered branch.

“Who Were the Odd Fellows?” opens Saturday, September 19, at the Warrensburgh Museum of Local History and will be on exhibit through October 31.

Museum hours are Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00–3:00 PM. Wednesday visits are available by appointment by calling (518) 623-2928.

Admission is free. Come discover a piece of Warrensburgh history you may have passed by without ever knowing its story.
