🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨

The Warrensburg Police Department has received reports of a scam involving someone spoofing our phone number and calling citizens claiming they have missed court or jury duty.

The scammer may then send a text message or email containing a supposed “signed subpoena” or other proof. Do NOT download or open these attachments — they may contain a virus or other malicious software.

👉 This is NOT the Warrensburg Police Department.

As a reminder, legitimate jury duty and court notifications are sent through the mail. The Warrensburg Police Department will not call you demanding payment or send you a downloadable subpoena or court document via text or email.

If you receive a suspicious call, text, or email, do not provide personal or financial information and do not open any attachments or links. When in doubt, contact the Warrensburg Police Department or the appropriate court directly using a verified phone number.

Our wonderful Chief Building Official, Brett Penrose, will be retiring towards the end of this month.

To celebrate his 28 years of service to the City of Warrensburg, we will be hosting a retirement reception on September 25 at 2:00PM in the Municipal Center.

Members of the community are welcome to attend to wish Brett well on his next adventure! 🎉

From to , it's a Street Maintenance Program Update! 🚧

Over the last couple days, crews have been completing overlay on Wilkes Drive, Frontage Road, Hampton Drive, and Hillman Drive.

Crews are off for the Labor Day holiday, but will return on Tuesday, September 8 to begin PCA Road from Stahl Drive to Grandview/Foxridge Drive.

Solid waste collection will be delayed by one day next week.

Beginning this week, September 1, the Warrensburg Community Center will begin the process of transitioning from ActiveNet to CivicRec!

This exciting change will bring a more user-friendly experience and new opportunities for our members and community, including:
- New classes, camps, leagues, and programs
- Easy registration
- All your information in one place
- Family event registration
- Receipts, waivers, etc. easily accessible for users
- Membership billing based on your membership sign-up date

What does this mean for current members?

Your existing information will be transferred from ActiveNet to CivicRec, but we may need some additional information from you that was not required by our previous system.

When you visit the Community Center for the first time after the transition, your membership will start over in CivicRec. This gives you the added benefit of choosing your membership billing date based on when you sign up, rather than having all members billed on the same day each month.

All new and current members will need to provide a valid ID for verification on their first visit, and there will be new paperwork that will need to be completed and signed as part of the transition.

There are some exciting changes coming, and we are confident this new system will make your experience with the Warrensburg Community Center even better!

We ask for your patience and grace with our staff during this transition. This system is new for our team, too, and we will be learning and navigating the process right alongside you.
