It's time for Beaty's 6th Annual Change a Life Coin War!

In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, here’s an easy and fun way to come together as a school and help change a life. We are going to have a Coin War between homerooms with the proceeds being donated to St. Jude Hospital. If you don’t know, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital treats children suffering from some of the toughest childhood cancers and pediatric diseases. They have made it a part of their mission to treat any child that needs it, even if their family is unable to afford payment. That’s where fundraisers like this come in. We can help support a family in need while having some fun here at school. Last year Beaty raised $1518.32. How high can we go this year?

Let’s show the children at St. Jude just how generous the children of Beaty Warren Middle School can be and breathe FIRE on childhood cancer!

Beaty's yearbook, The TORCH, can now be preordered by going to Jostens.com and selecting Yearbook, Order Online, type Beaty in the search and then select our school. From there, it will take you step by step for placing your order.

Jostens is currently running a special. If you place your order by Friday, September 25, you can use the code YBKICONS when ordering personalization and receive four free icons.

It is strongly recommended that you preorder your child's yearbook online as the number of extras that we will have available in school at the end of the year is never guaranteed (last year we ran out).

Real leadership isn’t about being the loudest person in the room or telling other people what to do. It’s about supporting others, working as a team, taking responsibility, and using your strengths to make a difference.

Hi-Ed’s Youth Leadership Program gives students in grades 6–8 the opportunity to build confidence, explore careers, and learn directly from local organizations and community leaders.

Participants will experience:
🏥 Teamwork and collaboration at Warren General Hospital
🏛️ Leadership in action with the City of Warren
🌲 Stewardship of community resources at Chapman State Park
💬 Communication, service, decision-making, and other important leadership skills

Students will also discover career paths available within Warren County and begin thinking about their own interests, strengths, and futures.

The program concludes with a field trip to Harrisburg, where students will meet area leaders, visit the State Capitol, and see leadership in action at the state level.

Every student has leadership within them. This program helps them find it, and learn how to use it.

Space is limited to 20 participants.
