The Warren Vol. Fire Dept. is lucky to have Jared on our team. Not only is he a volunteer firefighter, he’s also a member of the Mad River Valley Ambulance Service and he’s a track and field coach at Harwood! Giving back to the community runs deep in his family, as his father has also been a volunteer firefighter, EMT, and chief for 50 years in the town he grew up in.

Last night’s training was an awareness level training for water rescue techniques. This is useful to our department, so that we can continue to provide assistance to our mutual aid partners in emergency water rescue calls. Thank you to Mike Cannon from Vermont’s Urban Search and Rescue Task Force for an informative and helpful training!

The members of the 2026 fire department will be remembered in our town’s next time capsule, which will be buried Saturday for the next 50 years.
