Alert. As New Jersey welcomes the world for the FIFA World Cup 2026, NJOHSP is sharing an important reminder from our partners at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

All FIFA World Cup 2026 matches and fan festivals are "No Drone Zones." Fly illegally and you will be found, prosecuted, and subject to fines of up to $100,000. If you observe suspicious drone activity near a stadium, fan festival, or event venue, report it to 911, on-site law enforcement, or the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

During major sporting events like the FIFA World Cup, the FAA implements Temporary Flight Restrictions to limit air travel and secure the airspace. Taking off, landing, or flying a drone within these restricted areas is a serious violation of federal and local regulations.
