Reminder: Conewango Township is unable to accept tax payments unless the Tax Collector, Cherry McIntyre, is physically in the office and receives the payment personally. Payments left in our drop box will be returned to sender.

You may mail your tax payment, or stop by the Township Office during the following times to pay in person:

September 22, 24, 28 & 29
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

September 23 & 30
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Please plan accordingly, and thank you for your understanding!

Weiler Cemetery - Then and now!

The historic photo offers a glimpse of the cemetery and surrounding landscape as it appeared many years ago.

Finding the exact spot from the original photograph was impossible, but these recent views give us a sense of how much the cemetery and surrounding landscape have changed.

We’ve received a lot of calls this morning reporting trees down.

Our crew is currently working to clear the last reported tree down in the township. Hopefully, that’s the end of it for today! 😊

Friday Flashback! 📸

This beautiful old stone bridge once crossed Jackson Run. The details in the photos say it was near Logan Road, but here at the Township, we wonder if it was on Creamery Road.

What a beautiful piece of craftsmanship it was! Does anyone remember this bridge or know when it was replaced? We’d love to hear your memories! ❤️

⭐️ cricket was not harmed and released into the wild.

For those wondering when you might find some action going on in our board room...

The board meetings are the 2nd & 4th Monday of every month at 4:00 P.M.

and the Municipal Authority meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 5:00 P.M.
