Meet our Thursday morning volunteers! These ladies dedicate 2 hours every week to transcribing historical documents from our collection, typing Oakwood Cemetery interment records, processing new donations for us and so much more. We couldn't do what we do without our dedicated team of 15+ weekly volunteers, plus the additional 30+ volunteers that help us throughout the year. Thank you all for your hard work and love of local history.

Join us on September 19th at 10am for a tour of Pioneer Cemetery, thought to be the oldest public cemetery in the Western Reserve. Learn about the pioneers who settled the area and our ongoing efforts to preserve the Cemetery.

🎟️$10/person, registration is required. Register here: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/pioneer-cemetery-walking-tour-3

Interested in supporting the preservation of the cemetery? Consider donating to our Pioneer Cemetery Fund: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/restore-old-mahoning-pioneer-cemetery

By donating, you support hands-on work to clean headstones, stabilize markers, and care for the grounds where some of Trumbull County’s earliest residents are buried. Together, we honor their stories and keep this piece of local history open to the community.
