Community Volunteer Council

Community Volunteer Council "Willing and Ready to Serve" The Community Volunteer Council distributes food and clothing to low-income residents of Trumbull and surrounding Counties.

Families or individuals who wish to have access to this food must sign up with the Council on site each visit. First, Second and Fourth Wednesday we giveaway Produce from Second Harvest Food Bank and Bread & Sweets from Giant Eagle. Every third Thursday of the month, families are provided with one bag of food which includes canned goods, breakfast items and paper items. Clothing and other items, such as appliances and furniture, are donated to the council by members of the community. Every week, the CVC holds clothing drives open to all their clients. We also receive large appliances, such as a refrigerators or a stoves. All donated items are free to the public. Everything is first come first serve.
