Last week at the monthly meeting on 5/7/25 we got the privilege to congratulate David Miller on his retirement from the fire service!

David had a total of 35 years of service!

10 years on Liberty Center Fire Department and 25 on Warren Volunteer Fire Department.

David has worked his way through the chain of command and started out as a firefighter and ended his career as a captain.

Congratulations on retirement David and thank you for your years of service.

Warren Volunteer Fire Department has gotten an upgrade to our fire trucks!

We have recently purchased a brand new 2026 freightliner chassis, all polly body with 1,000 gallon tank. Truck is built by our friends at Midwest Fire! We can’t thank you guys enough for putting in the work to build us such an amazing fire truck to allow us to safely serve and protect the citizens of Warren, Indiana and Salamonie Township!

We are going to have a in service/ push in ceremony but the date is still TBD
