Last week, leaders from across education, industry, workforce development, and economic development came together for the Middle Georgia Workforce Summit: Building a Work Ready Future.
The summit focused on strengthening workforce pipelines through collaboration, innovation, and shared strategies for the future of work.
Attendees heard from Chancellor Sonny Perdue, participated in discussions on Certified Work Ready Communities, explored the impact of AI and automation in the workplace, and learned from employer case studies showcasing WorkKeys in action.
Thank you to all of our speakers, panelists, partners, and attendees who continue working to create meaningful pathways for students, job seekers, and employers across our region. The conversations happening today are helping shape a stronger workforce for tomorrow.Central Georgia Technical College, Kate Hogan, Middle Georgia Innovation Corridor, Patrick Topping, Judy Richards Sherling, University System Of Georgia, Paul Allen, Amelia Hall Spinks, Angie Gheesling, Georgia Power Economic Development, Maggie Schuyler, Flint Energies, Amy Lamberth Varnum,Robins Regional Chamber
