Hydrant testing is a routine but important part of keeping our community safe. It helps:
• Maintain overall water quality
• Identify and fix potential issues to ensure hydrants are ready for use in emergencies

Please be aware:
Hydrant testing may cause temporary water discoloration due to stirred-up sediment.

To avoid any issues at home:
• Run washers through a rinse cycle before washing clothes

Today, the Warner Robins Fire Department honors Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the continued pursuit of equality for all.

As we serve our community, we recognize the importance of reflecting on our shared history while continuing to build a stronger, more united future together.

Today, we celebrate freedom, honor those who came before us, and reaffirm our commitment to serving every member of our community with respect, compassion, and integrity.

This past Saturday, the Knights of Columbus honored first responders from agencies across Houston County in a special ceremony recognizing the dedication, sacrifice, and service provided to our community each day.

We are especially proud to recognize one of our own, Engineer Jeremy Kirk, who was among those honored for his outstanding service and commitment to the fire service.

Engineer Kirk, consistently demonstrates professionalism, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Whether responding to emergencies, supporting his crew, or serving the citizens of our community, he represents the values and standards of the Warner Robins Fire Department with honor and integrity. His dedication to this profession and to those we serve is evident every day.

Behind every strong firefighter is often an equally strong support system. Pictured alongside Jeremy is his wife, Whitney, whose unwavering support, sacrifice, and encouragement help make his success possible. The fire service is not an individual commitment, it is a family commitment. Long shifts, missed holidays, late-night calls, and the physical and emotional demands of this profession are also carried by the loved ones standing beside us. We extend our sincere appreciation to her for the strength and support she provides so he can be the best he can be.

Please join us in congratulating Engineer Jeremy Kirk on this well-deserved recognition and in thanking both Jeremy and his family for their continued service and sacrifice.
