Tomorrow! The People & Pets Project will be hosting a clinic at Twiggs County Health Department from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Consider attending if you missed the last local clinic!

The clinic will provide care for both humans and animals, offering blood pressure screenings, glucose screenings, and vaccines to people. For pets, certified veterinarians will offer core vaccines, microchips, and wellness screenings.

All services are free of charge and no appointment is necessary.

Additionally, pet owners will have the option to sign their pets up for a future spay and neuter clinic, which does include an associated cost. Payment is due at the time of registration - $25 for cats and $35 for dogs

We want to thank Chassity for her hard work in encouraging community residents to choose healthy foods and be more physically active. In the first half of the fiscal year, Chassity exceeded the annual goal for the number of participants in nutrition education classes.
