As difficult as it was to watch I did force myself to endure last night's "State of the Union" address. The president's assessment of the situation in which America, and the world, presently finds itself and my assessment were farther apart than the space travel distances portrayed in the latest Star Wars movie!
Of all the inflammatory misstatements, and there were many, the absolute worst was when I thought I heard the president congratulate himself because the "film maker who caused Benghazi was behind bars". I may have misheard, but for me after that statement nothing else really mattered!
Again, it may have just been my imagination, but if one picture is worth a thousand, words nothing spoke "volumes" like how quickly the House Chamber emptied out---even before the president made his exit!
